Creating ringtones for your Apple IPhone 3G

1. Open ITunes
2. Select a song/track that you want to make into a ring tone.
3. Listen to the song and select the part of it which you want
to use. The chorus may be a good place to start.
4. Write down the start and stop times of the clip (40 secs. is
the maximum length recommended per ring tone).
5. Right-click the song and select "Get Info."
6. Click the "Options" tab.
7. Enter the start and end time for your desired ring tone and click "OK"
8. Right-click your song again and select "Create AAC Version".
Wait for ITunes to convert your song. It will create a duplicate version.
9. Right-click the ring tone and select "Delete."
10. Find the file. It's usually in your User folder under "My Documents\My Music
\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music >" and under the artists name. It will have an
extension of m4a.
11. Replace the m4a extension of your ring tone with m4r.

12. Double-click the ring tone file. ITunes will automatically add it
to your ring tones folder in your ITunes Music Library.
13. Connect your IPhone and sync your ring tones.

Apple Iphone 3G

Pros:
1. Wifi Ready, connect to any wireless access point to connect to the internet
2. Blue tooth Capable.
3. Sensitive touch screen to browse through menus, stylus pens won't work on this unit.
4. Decent battery life, stand-by time ranges from 5-7 days (depending on certain conditions). Lets be realistic it's a phone with Ipod and wifi features not the other way around (using these features at the same time would greatly decrease the units battery life.
5. Decent camera resolution.

Cons:
1. Consumes more energy when wifi is activated and connection speed depends on signal strength and number of users accessing the access point.
2. No IRDA feature
3. Stylus pen won't work
4. Approximately 2hrs. while playing music or video files. Good luck playing all your files on the 32GB HDD. But still a handy feature to load lots of data and applications.
5. No expandable memory slot.6. Camera won't zoom, no feature for night mode setting. No flash.
